Self-kindness
Tools & Resources we've found, that you might want to explore.
At adbra we'd like to go beyond providing you with our sustainable well-being products. We'd like to help you access as many tools and resources, so that you have the choice to find out what works best for you. In each of our well-being element pages, we'll provide some recommendations for you to try. These resources are unaffiliated (meaning we don't earn anything for the links we provide) and are top picks from our staff team.

COMPASSION

Think about the words and actions of someone who has treated you with incredible kindness. Mimic these actions on yourself. Journal or voice record them and relay them when you are feeling low. Practising soothing yourself in the mirror or in your mind regularly to build muscle memory.

MINDFULNESS

Practice sitting with your thoughts and feelings. Acknowledge your emotions without judgement and try not to suppress them. Breathe and connect with your senses, focusing on the present moment. Allow yourself to be. Practice this any time, anywhere.

HUMANITY

Consider imperfection as the normality of being human. Endeavour to embrace your mistakes. Take a moment to consider your reaction when things go wrong and whether you can reframe the situation. Share experiences with others and appreciate a common humanity.
